Somehow, thousands of weapons I sent (we sent) to Iraq have gone missing.

They are available at shops in Baghdad. See report
.
Looks like we failed to record the serial numbers of about a half million weapons.

Second Lady Lynne Cheney tried to deny to CNN's Wolf Blitzer yesterday that her 1981 book "Sisters" is a nasty book. Democratic lies.

The book is out of print but you can read excerpts on www.whitehouse.org

Amazon has 4 used books for 299.94 to 999.00. They had 7 copies yesterday.
The full text, in pdf, is on thememoryblog.org It may be temporary.

Mrs. Cheney now only writes patriotic children's books.

Shut Up & Sing:

The movie NBC doesn't want you to see.

NBC has refused to air ads for the documentary on the Dixie Chicks because the ad may be disparaging to our President.

Starts today in NY and LA. Out nationally Nov. 10.

We are safe!

President Bush today signed into law the Secure Fence Act of 2006.
We are safe.
Some farmers and businessmen along the border aren't too sure. They may lose their access to the Rio Grande's water, and their livelihood.

Lucky for them, the bill has not been funded. The 700 miles of fencing along the 2100 mile border will cost as much as $6,000,000,000 before land purchase
and corruption.
Lucky for us, it's just a pre-election gimmick.

BENCHMARKS for withdrawal - cut and run!

General Casey and US Ambassador Khalilzad yesterday announced the possibility of benchmarks toward withdrawal in the next 18 months.

They announced it in the dark. After five years, Halliburton is delivering 2 hours of electricity to Baghdad a day. Billions of our dollars.

The Prime Minister of Iraq said that he had not been consulted.
"No one has the right to impose a timetable" on his people, Maliki said. These benchmarks were "the result of elections taking place right now".
Our elections.

Victory in Iraq has been cancelled.

After the plans had been made, ads purchased, tour dates set: see last blog.

Late yesterday, Vice President Cheney barged into the oval office and slammed the door.
Forty-five minutes later a pale and shaken Bush told his staff to cancel Victory in Iraq.

We may never know exactly what took place, but a very upset aide has reported overhearing Cheney bragging loudly to Karl that he had told the President that Cheney would, "pull his plug" if he tried to roll out this "victory crap".

He assured the President that he would use his Abramoff knowledge, leaked to Speaker Pelosi, to have him impeached.

Tony Snow would not comment.

Victory in Iraq!

"We have won."

After meeting with James Baker and Lee Hamilton yesterday and Generals Abizaid and Casey today, the President will announce tomorrow that we have won in Iraq.

In front of a "Victory is Ours" banner in front of the White House, with Republican leaders surrounding, Bush will begin a two-week tour of the country meeting with Republican candidates to insure a sweep of Congressional and Senatorial races.
"We did not cut and run - we won. Now all that's left is to ease out, with honor."

New television ads are rolling out Monday. "Ease out - with Honor" The new theme for November 7.

Worth watching tonight: Countdown with Keith Olbermann 8:00 ET on MSNBC

The Military Commissions Act of 2006 that Bush signed into law yesterday removes the right of American citizens to habeas corpus if the president doesn't care for you.
The Constitution of the United States was modified.

Keith will again speak to that.

It's interesting how often the youthful face of Ralph Reed appears in Moyer's report. (see yesterday's blog)

Reed ran the Christian Coalition from 1989 to 1997.
Abramoff said "he's like us, but worse.

Huge story. Much bigger than Foley.

Susan Ralston, Special Assistant to the President, the top aide to Karl Rove, former top aide to Jack Abramoff at both Greenberg Traurig and Preston Gates Ellis resigned Thursday after being linked to Abramoff's incredible access to the White House.

She may have saved Rove's job until after the election.

The NBC News/Wall St. Journal poll out today shows the President holding with a 39% approval rating.

The telling facts:

Within the 39%, 7% have been, "out of town".
11% say they never look at news - TV, newspapers, nothing. "Too depressing."
21% were unaware of an election Nov. 7 and have no intention of voting.

Even though there has been a minor clamor for us to publish the e-mails from our Secretary of State (who is single), we have not been able to establish that the person who sent them was actually a Capitol page. Please contact us again: rich@richardehead.com
Also, we are trying to keep this site R-rated. The submitted e-mails are distinctly XXX.

As I review my e-mail correspondence with Congressman Foley, early on I thought he was joking. (He did make some fair jokes about my name.) I may have said things that could be interpreted as leading him on.
Still debating publication.

Condi today couldn't remember the July 10, 2001 meeting with CIA chief Tenet when - Woodward reports - that Tenet told her that Osama was going to attack the U.S. soon. (two months)

On yesterday's offer to publish my Foley e-mails: not an overwhelming response.

So how about this: today a fan sent what she says are e-mails from Secretary of State Condoleeza Rice to FEMALE pages. Lascivious, dirty, nasty.

How about that?

Sunday, October 01, 2006

I am seeking advice on the propriety of releasing e-mails between Congressman Foley and yours truly from a few months back. I originally asked a political question, but in his reply, he seemed overly fascinated with my name. He attempted to start a continuing dialog. I ended it after his questions became disgusting.

If there is no legal problem, and if enough people want to see it, I will publish them.

As to "enough people", my plea for funds to help Willie Nelson with his legal problem (see September 19 blog) has so far resulted in our receiving one envelope containing a few seeds. We are not denigrating the gift. (They were very good seeds) I'm just not sure about the "enough people" question.
